Dumped little rabbit

So someone left a rabbit in the old daycare playground that closed down. You should have seen the production, 2 ladders, Hillary & the corner store guy holding one while I climb over the 12 ft high fence to try to reach the one on the other side; 20 minutes of following the rabbit around the yard w/ a carrier until Hillary found a laundry basket up the block. Then another 10 minutes or so until I put the carrier on top of him. Then the fun part was to transfer the rabbit to the carrier without it getting loose. It was a one shot deal and luck was on our side. Then we had to transfer the rabbit over the fence (trying not to drop it), we were successful at that then it was my turn to climb back over and after swinging my 2nd leg over, oops! I slipped, not bad just a bruied nerve on my wrist and lots of bruises.
The happy ending the rabbit got a home that night. This was all on my way home from work and to get a bottle of wine to relax after a long day, turned out to be a long night too! But the bottle of wine was opened and enjoyed

The family

Here are some photos of the family.

The grey sibling of CL

Here is the little grey trouble maker of CL

The siblings of Chicken Little

Here is the mostly white sibling of chicken little. I love this photo because he/she almost disappears in the sun.

Mom of Chicken Little

This is the amazing mother of the 3 kittens and Chicken Little, I never had a chance to name her before she went to her home but I've been told she is happy and doing very well! She would jump at least 12ft up to my window to get my attention to let me know she was hungry, after a few weeks she would bring her kittens around. She felt so comfortable that the courtyard is where she would spend most of her time letting her babies nurse and play.

Happy tails of Chicken Little

I discovered Chicken Little when she was a about 3.mo. old with her Mom and 2 other siblings. Or to correctly put it the mother found me and then brought her babies around. The 2 other siblings a mostly white kitten with tabby marks that looked so much like the mom and the runt a grey tabby.
I was able to trap the Mom and Chicken Little, the mom turned out to be friendly and with a little work so did CL. Here is the picture of CL when she was out in the yard and here she is about 4 months later so grown up and having fun with her mouse. She got her name becuase she is a little chicken until she gets used to you then she is the biggest sweethart. My friend is fostering her until we find her a forever home!
